California Cuisine
California Cuisine is based on combining a fusion of many different cuisines with fresh, natural and local ingredients.

Alice Waters and Jeremiah Tower are usually credited with the origination of California Cuisine.  Alice Waters has been serving dishes from fresh, natural, locally based ingredients at Chez Panisse, in Berkeley, since 1970.  Jeremiah Tower is credited with bringing "stacked presentation" to California Cuisine.
